NEEDS Centre is currently looking for volunteers to support newcomer serving organizations and ethnocultural communities!
Who is a Newcomer Relief Volunteer?
- Provide support to newcomers and enhance newcomer resettlement efforts
- Support settlement organizations and ethnocultural communities in need of volunteers

- Translation
- Interpretation

- Other areas as needed
How to apply?
- Complete your online application form
- Provide a resume
- Provide a current* Criminal Record check (with Vulnerable Sector Search completed)
- Provide a current* Child Abuse Registry check (can be applied for through NEEDS Centre)
- Provide contact information for reference checks (at least one professional reference required)
- Attend an orientation session
NOTE:
- *A current check must have been completed within 12 months.
- Once accepted, you will be matched with organizations and/or community groups in need of your help.
- Time commitment will be specified and communicated by the agency you are matched with.
