Success is a Story, Celebrating N.E.E.D.S. Inc. 25th Anniversary

2024 marks a significant milestone for N.E.E.D.S. Inc. as we celebrate our 25th anniversary. Join us in commemorating this special occasion by attending an event that highlights the extraordinary success stories of newcomer young professionals.

Event details:

Time/Date: Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:30 pm
Location: The Masonic Memorial Centre, 420 Corydon Ave, Winnipeg, Manitoba
Guest Speaker: Zahra Al-Harazi, an award-winning entrepreneur and former Canadian Ambassador to UNICEF

Ticket prices are $80/person or $600/table (8 people). You can either e-transfer the amount to donate@needsinc.ca (please include “25th anniversary” in the note section) or pay by cheque. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Stand Up to Racism Together Project

Our FREE Stand Up to Racism Together Project is back for the summer!
Running from August 14th to August 19th, participants will attend workshops on racial discrimination and stress management, learn graphic design on an iPad with Adobe Creative Clouds and create their own posters to raise awareness against racial injustice.

The new intake will start on August 14th, 2023. Spots are limited and registration is required! Contact Ebyan (ebyan@needsinc.ca/ 204-940-1294) or Chanmi(chanmi@needsinc.ca/204-940-1290) for more information.

Remote One-on-One Homework Club

Our FREE one-on-one remote homework club is back for the new school year.

Post-Secondary Bridge Program

Our Bridge Program is now recruiting new participants!

If you are a Grade 11/12 student who is a newcomer to Canada and are currently looking for help to advance into Post-secondary institution, then our Bridge Program is the right program for you!
